FAQs
Shop Updates & Restocks
Online Shop Openings
You can purchase my ceramics directly from the online shop during its restocking, which I plan to launch a few times a year. I always give 4-6 weeks' notice before each update. To stay informed, follow me on Instagram or subscribe to my newsletter for early access to new stock.
Markets & Shows
Throughout the year, I participate in various local markets and shows. The largest collection of my work is usually available at Winter Markets across Ireland. This is a great opportunity to see and feel the work in person. For market dates and details, keep an eye on my Instagram or subscribe to the newsletter for timely updates.
Shipping
For my first online shop update, I plan to ship nationally within Ireland. International shipping to the UK, EU, and US will be available as I expand. I strive to fulfill orders quickly, ensuring that each piece is well-packaged and reaches you safely.
Returns & Breakages
Due to the handmade nature of my pottery, each item is unique. If your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with clear photos. I will work with you to resolve the issue. I do not accept returns for change of mind, only for damaged items that occur upon delivery.
Stockists, Commissions & Galleries
Private Commissions
I occasionally accept commissions for private homes, but only for substantial quantities, due to the time-intensive nature of ceramics. Availability varies based on my ongoing projects. Please note that I do not replicate other makers' work, as I believe in maintaining a unique and ethical approach to my craft. I also work exclusively with my current glaze palette. If you're interested in bespoke pieces or installations, please reach out to discuss your ideas.
Restaurants & Cafes
I’m happy to take small orders for restaurants and cafes. My ceramics is thrown thinly & delicate, with matte glazes that require care during use to avoid damage. If you need a bespoke range for your business, I can adjust the thickness of the pottery to meet the specific needs of a commercial setting if it’s something I can accommodate for. Handwashing is the best way to care for the pieces and ensure their longevity in a high-use environment.
Stockists & Galleries
If you're interested in stocking my work, please get in touch through the contact form on my website. I’m open to building lasting relationships with thoughtful and quality stockists and would love to discuss potential collections for your shop or gallery. Please note that only a curated selection of my ceramics is available to stockists—details of which can be discussed further upon inquiry.
Workshops & Private Lessons
Wheel Throwing Workshops
I teach workshops through Throwing Shapes, based in Dublin, Ireland. These include 6-week courses, 2-day intensive workshops, glaze application sessions, and occasional taster classes. As they manage the schedule, pricing & booking process, please contact the Throwing Shapes team directly for any additional information not covered during booking.
Private Lessons
At the moment, I’m unable to offer one-on-one lessons from my home studio due to privacy reasons. However, I’m open to teaching one-off classes through Throwing Shapes—please mention my name when inquiring with them. I’m also happy to consider invitations to teach at other pottery studios for special events or one-off workshops.
Other Information
Product Care
My ceramics are handcrafted from stoneware and coated in matte glazes. Due to their handmade nature, they are more delicate than mass-produced ceramics. I recommend handwashing and avoiding the microwave or exposure to strongly staining foods and drinks. As care is taken during the making process, I personally handwash all my handcrafted ceramics. To preserve the integrity of the piece and prevent unintentional chipping or cracking, I recommend avoiding the dishwasher. However, it is up to your discretion to use a dishwasher. If the piece cracks or chips as a result, please discontinue use and dispose of it safely. Over time, cutlery marks may appear, this can be removed with a paste of warm water and baking soda.
Press & PR Inquiries
For press or PR inquiries, please contact me via the website form. I'll respond as soon as possible.
Studio Visits
Currently, my studio is within my home, so public visits are not possible. However, as my work grows, I may allow studio visits in the future once I outgrow my current space.
